Angry Minnow– Fresh Lake Superior white fish, not fried! Try the beer flight from this local brewery. 25 Minute Drive

Timber Bay Resort- Think of your small town bar. Casual and easy going, this fully stocked bar serves up a fresh menu of wraps, paninis, pizza, appetizers AND the best fish tacos around! Plus, it’s all done without a deep fryer. 8 Minute Drive

The River Deck– Seasonal casual fine dining with expertly made cuisine. Sit inside or out, weather depending. Two bars, edited menu made fresh with each order. 22 Minute Drive
 
The Fireside– Husband and wife team run this white linen tablecloth establishment in the middle of the woods. Eclectic chef prepared meals are memorable. Full Bar. 30 Minute Drive
 
The Rookery– Take a drive through Elk country to this unlikely restaurant in the woods. Menu varies by season, with great attention to detail. Rare finds for the area like fresh fish, pheasant, and Kobe beef. Worth the drive! 45 Minute Drive
 
Good Thyme– Remodeled Victorian home with herb themed, upscale menu. Thoughtful wine list. A nice stop after a daytrip to Bayfield. 65 Minute Drive

Delta Diner– A retro 1950’s diner with a VERY loyal northwoods following. If the Lodge breakfast didn’t fill you up, the breakfast here is simply perfect. Lunch too. Visual menu spoken at the table by genuinely happy servers. An experience more than just a meal. 45 Minute Drive
